24 Exposures at Three Rooms Gallery brings together works from two London-based artists, Kirsi Pirhonen and Heini King. 24 Exposures refers to photographic frames, shot to capture moments, giving exposure to events embedded in time. Blending textiles, painting, sculpture and drawing the works in the exhibition become symbols. They take us back to what is left to keep - to personal memories and places. These ideas expand from personal to shared, encapsulating experiences across time and space.

Heini King is a multi-disciplinary artist working across painting, writing, performance, textiles and lens-based media. A graduate of MA Fine Art (Central Saint Martins, UAL) and MA Craft Science and Education (Helsinki University) her work centres around questions of ecology, creativity and the poetic in the digital age. As an artist she uses different voices inspired by the liminal spaces between dreams, imagination and place.

Kirsi Pirhonen is an artist working with sculpture and installation with a characteristic of creating often bright coloured abstracted soft sculpture forms made from textiles, combined with yarn made into handsewn tactile tassel fringes or crochet strings in harmonious colourscales, often mixed with contrasting colder materiality choices. Pirhonen is currently pursuing MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins UAL.
